SpicMacay IIMB is proud to announce our signature cultural event of the year, ‘Yamini’ which will be a ‘Dusk-to-Dawn’ show. We bring together some of the biggest names in the Indian classical pantheon, both Hindustani and Carnatic, and present a night of kalaa (art) and sanskriti (culture). For perhaps the first time in the history of music in Bangalore, doyens of hindustani classical music like Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia and Vishwa Mohan Bhatt would be sharing the stage with carnatic music vidvaans like Bombay Jayashree, Shri. Ravi Kiran, and danseuse and actress Shobana. We welcome you and your family to this event and promise 10 hours of enchantment, from 9 pm to 6 am, on the 25th-26th of Jan, at the Open Air Theater, IIM Bangalore campus.
The IIMB community, which would be the students, the faculty, the officials, the contract workers, and any other people on campus, are welcome to this event, and they can bring their family along.
Passes will be available on request for any friends from outside IIMB. Please mail back to this id without changing the subject and state the number of passes needed, and you can collect the passes from us.
The entry is free for all students of any school/college, on possession of a valid id card.
We once again request you to grace this event with your august presence.
